This is a video on how toothpaste is made. There wasn't any specific video on how the Egyptians made it. But this is an overview of how they do it now.
|
What purpose did the toothpaste serve? The Ancient Egyptians had lots of troubles with their teeth so they made an invention to help prevent those problems. The bread they ate had sand and grit in it which ate away at their enamel so they needed to prevent that. So the overall purpose of toothpaste was to prevent teeth problems, keep there teeth clean, because they didn't have dentistry.

What impact did it have on this civilization? It had a great impact on the civilization, improving the life that they had before. It helped people not have issues with their teeth, so it impacted the civilians. Over time it was improved more but they needed a basic start up to help their teeth. They also found toothpicks buried in mummies stomachs, so they then started to use that.

What impact does it have on the world today?Toothpaste has a great impact on the modern world today. Thanks to the Egyptians we took a basic idea and turned it into something more with the technology that we have today. If they hadn't invented the toothbrush and toothpaste , we wouldn't have clean teeth, or a mouth. Overall we probably wouldn't even have teeth by never brushing them. The food we eat, eats away at the enamel, so that then takes away from our teeth, but thanks to the Egyptians they invented something to prevent that. So now we don't have as much issues with our teeth.
